It feels like so long ago that Bill and I decided to build our future on whole grains. We’ve learned an industry from scratch. We threw every penny we had into the pot. We both have had so many 17 hour days between our 3 small children, the biz and restaurants at night…you get the picture. I’ve had days where I was so discouraged that I seriously thought we may had made a MAJOR life mistake. I admit to throwing tantrums and soothing them with red wine.
But now, we’ve turned this corner we’ve been struggling to reach. Our products are on shelves! We can actually go to stores and see all of our efforts being purchased. The feeling I have as I write this is nothing less than absolute excitement and pride rivaling only the birth of our children. Fatigue is being replaced by motivation. Like I’m running on a different type of gas. Hallelujah would be an understatement! We have so far to go still, but for tonight Bill and I will drink bubbly and try to enjoy a milestone in the life of our business. A real business we can call our own. A future dependent only upon our efforts.
